🦏Rhinos’ First Home Game: A Winning
Headingley came alive on 14 February as Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Club kicked off their first home game of the season with a commanding 46–14 win over York Knights. A packed stadium, an electric atmosphere, and a fantastic performance on the pitch made it a night to remember. We were delighted to host the wonderful team from Sterling Event Group Ltd – thank you for joining us!
🍽️ Hospitality Tastings with Yorkshire Cricket & Leeds Rhinos
We were thrilled to welcome both Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Club for their 2026 hospitality menu tasting sessions. A huge shout‑out to our brilliant culinary team including Darren Kelly, Luke Hinchliffe and Rob Jones, who showcased an impressive range of delicious dishes. Guests across cricket and rugby league are in for an exceptional dining experience this season, and we can’t wait for everyone to try what’s coming.
❤Heart Yorkshire Hero Awards 2026
On Thursday 12 February, we had the honour of hosting the Heart Yorkshire Hero Awards, celebrating remarkable individuals who make a difference across our region. It was a heart-warming evening filled with community pride, inspiring stories, and plenty of Yorkshire spirit. We’re proud to be a venue that supports events that truly matter.
🎓 Student Showcase Events
We welcomed students from University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett University and Leeds Trinity University for our university society showcase events on 11 and 13 February. It was fantastic to meet so many creative, passionate groups exploring what Headingley can offer. We’re already looking forward to hosting your graduation parties and end‑of‑year celebrations later in the year!
