🏆 National Recognition at the Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2026
We were delighted to receive national recognition at the prestigious Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2026.
Headingley Stadium was awarded Silver in the Non-Matchday Mystery Shopper Award, recognising the quality of our corporate event enquiries and customer service. The award highlights the commitment of our sales and events team to delivering a professional, responsive and customer-focused experience for conference, meeting and event clients.
Adding to the celebrations, Leeds Rhinos Rugby Club was named Winner of the Visiting Rugby Directors Award, recognising the exceptional matchday hospitality and welcome experienced by visiting clubs throughout the season.
These achievements reinforce Headingley’s position as one of Yorkshire’s leading destinations for conferences, meetings, exhibitions, dinners and special events.
🦏 Rhinos Claim Local Bragging Rights
Headingley played host to two convincing victories for Leeds Rhinos over local rivals Bradford Bulls this month.
The Rhinos ran out 56-5 winners on 5 July before securing a second dominant victory 42-12 on 26 July, giving supporters plenty to celebrate and creating fantastic atmospheres inside the stadium.
Matchdays like these continue to showcase the passion, energy and community spirit that make Headingley such a special venue for sport.
🏏 Vitality T20 Blast Quarter Final at Headingley
We were proud to host the Vitality T20 Blast Quarter Final, welcoming thousands of cricket fans for one of the biggest fixtures in the domestic calendar.
While Yorkshire’s T20 campaign came to an end against reigning champions Somerset, the occasion once again demonstrated Headingley’s ability to host major sporting events and deliver first-class experiences for supporters, hospitality guests and visitors alike.
SunRiser’s Leeds Men’s Team also kicked off their Hundred campaign with two out of three wins, but maintain a 100% record whilst playing at Headingley Stadium.
SunRiser’s Leeds Women are yet to win at home this season but won their first game of the season away at MI London.
